Terminology
The canonical names, so nobody (including the CORE) gets confused.
- Mech: your whole machine. Its body tier is the Chassis (Scrap-Bot through Dyson-Frame); leveling the Chassis spends Scrap.
- MechMaxxing: the wired power graph inside the Mech. Parts are wired under a Weight budget; the Mech Core is its one intrinsic power source.
- Parts: looted modules (Attack, Power, Booster, Tuner, Utility, Frame) in tiers Nerfed through Based from drops, Unit and GOATED from the Foundry.
- Wave: one batch of enemies. Every 10th wave ends in a boss, a bigger wave machine. Your frontier is the highest wave reached.
- Enrage: the per-fight damage ramp on every enemy. Waves gain 1 percent per attack, guardians 2, overlords 3. It resets each new encounter and exists so nobody face-tanks forever.
- Overlord: one of eleven named bosses fought in a duel you start from the Overlords tab. Beating one authorizes an Ascension and can unlock a system. Not a wave boss.
- Ascension: uploading into the next Chassis. Run resets; MechMaxxing, Parts, Components, Cores, Drones and Pets persist.
- Drones: the Salvage Drone Bay. Drones either fly Strike Sorties (idle missions for Components and Caches) or stay home and auto-loot Scrap on the field.
- Pets: shrunken wave machines that follow you and grant small multiplicative bonuses. Not drones; drones work, pets vibe (and also work).
- Training Yard: Sparky Boi's obedience yard. Benched pets run timed trials for +1 level and Scrap.
- The Foundry: Sir Loin's part-fusion forge. Three spare duplicates plus Components become one part a rarity higher.
- The Smelter: Sir Cumference's furnace. Spare parts melt into Alloy, which buys permanent Weight, Storage and drone bay capacity.
- Supply Lines: Sir Pent's rail network. Track between cleared segments pays a capped Scrap bonus; loops pay extra.
- Hostile Takeover: MechCorp's stock ledger. Staked Scrap pays Components dividends; buyouts grant a capped permanent bonus.
- Compute Grid: the Data Center's racks. Intrusions yield Compute, which raises CPU and Storage and eases the booster stacking penalty (Lattice Conductance).
- Districts: the city living on your legs. Citizens staff Housing, Factory, Lab and Arcade for small capped global bonuses.
- Star Harvest: the Dyson swarm. Satellites boost Mech Core power up to double; fifty completes the swarm and reveals Reboot.
- Currencies: Scrap (Chassis and bay levels), Components (Part and Core upgrades), Cores (permanent Core upgrades, earned by Ascension).
